Our Grievances
What's with this "Judeo-Christian" bullshit? If you Christians are so intent on piggybacking on Judaism -- so much so that you insist on connecting us vis a vis a pathetic little hyphen -- why don't you do us all a favor and call the dogs off; tell your evangelicals and/Witnesses to leave us the fuck alone. As it is, the term is simply the lamest example of etymological ass-covering ever.
Please note, La Shawn and breathren: We -- and by "we" we mean the krew at TS -- do not like you. We don't believe J.C. is the son o' God or that He turned water into Sunny Delight or whatever.
We bring this up because our blogger-fucker arch-nemesis (that's like starfucking, only more pathetic), La Shawn Barber, writes
Even though we have so-called freedom of religion in this country, America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles.
Naturally, La Shawn links to a book refutes the very use of the word. (If you have the time, read Alan Wolfe's massacre of Stark's book here.)
She continues:
It may sound hysterical, nutty, paranoid, or whatever adjective works for you, but the last thing Americans should want is a majority or even a significant number of Allah worshipers writing American laws and setting American policy.
Um, we don't want a bunch of Congressmen who think that San Francisco is 28 feet from New York, but c'est la fucking vie.

It's hard to call them "Judeo-Christian" particularly when Jews take umbrage when a Christian refers to the Pentateuch as "the Old Testament...you know, your gospels?"
